2008 Toyota Tacoma Interior Overview
The Toyota Tacoma is an attractive truck, and this time there is one more aspect to make it a favorite in the compact pick-up segment. And its the beautiful interior cabin. The 2008 Toyota Tacoma comes in Regular Cab, Access Cab (extended cab) and Double Cab (crew cab) body styles. There are as many as thirteen models for this year. This time the trucks are more comfortable and more capable than ever before. Tacoma offers a comfortable cab, a refined ride, responsive handling, proven off-road capability, and quality construction.
Colors
The interior cabin is highlighted in very interesting colors, like Taupe and Graphite. The lower dash and console are a lighter color than the main upper dash, brightening the interior. Chrome rings surround the three clustered gauges.
Seating
The seats of the Tacoma are larger, as compared to the earlier models. The manually adjustable seats come with lumbar adjustment but there is adjustment facility only for the seat height or the angle of the seat bottom. The Tacoma trucks provide the drivers with a good driving position. With big mirrors one gets a good view of the rear. The rear seats are particularly comfortable and there is enough legroom, shoulder room and decent headroom.
Comfort and Space
There are solid cup holders in the center console area that are quite handy. The front passenger's seat back can be transformed into a tray table or for providing space for long objects. The switchgear is easy to operate, and everything is where you expect it to be. It is easy to adjust cabin temperature even with gloves on with the help of big rotary knobs. The radio is fully integrated into the upper center stack and it's easy to operate.
